Jodie Potter: “Today, I Can Say My Son Is Cured of Cancer”

In December 2011, Emily Whitehead Foundation board member Jodie Potter's youngest son was diagnosed with neuroblastoma just prior to his second birthday. Today, Corban Potter is five years cancer free! In her own words, Jodie shared with us their story.

Pi Day 5k Benefitting Emily Whitehead Foundation

On Saturday, March 18 we teamed up with Left Right Repeat to hold the PI Day 5K Benefiting Emily Whitehead Foundation at Circleville Park in State College, Pa. Despite postponement due to inclement weather, the rescheduled Pi Day event was a success.

The Emily Whitehead Foundation has been named a finalist for Life Sciences Pennsylvania's 2016 Patient Impact Award! The award recipient will be announced March 9, 2017 at Life Sciences Pennsylvania's Annual Dinner at the Philadelphia Convention Center.

2nd Annual Take Down Cancer Event Raises $13k

On February 2, 2017 two local high school wrestling clubs, Philipsburg-Osceola and Clearfield, met in a dual-meet at Philipsburg-Osceola High School for the second year in a row to raise money for the Emily Whitehead Foundation.

An Update from Emily

Emily Whitehead, our (favorite) co-founder, recently took to Facebook to say hello and share a few updates! On January 21, Emily wrote to let everyone know about an upcoming routine appointment at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP).
