4th Annual “Tee Off for T-Cells” Event Raises Over $66,000
On Friday, July 13 we hosted our 4th annual "Tee Off for T-Cells" golf tournament at Philipsburg Elks Lodge and Country Club in our hometown of Philipsburg, Pa. This year's event was our most successful yet and raised over $66,000!

It was on this day six years ago that we learned the T-cell therapy had not only saved Emily's life, but also left no evidence of leukemia cells. She was free of cancer, and Kari and I didn’t have to find out what it would be like living without our only daughter.

Emily Whitehead Foundation Grants $250,000 to CHOP Immunotherapy Program
On Tuesday, April 17, the Emily Whitehead Foundation presented Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP)'s Dr. Stephan A. Grupp with a $250,000 research grant. The donation will support the ongoing CAR T-cell therapy research of CHOP's immunotherapy program.
Emily Whitehead Foundation Contributes $250,000 to SU2C Sharp Awards
The Emily Whitehead Foundation has contributed $250,000 to SU2C's Phillip A. Sharp Innovation in Collaboration Awards. The grant will be split into increments of $125,000 for awards in 2018 and 2019, each supporting further research of pediatric cancer immunotherapy treatments.
Take Down Cancer: 3rd Annual Wrestling Event Raises Over $13,700
On February 6, 2018, local Philipsburg-Osceola and Clearfield high school wrestling teams met in a dual-meet at Clearfield Area Senior High School for the third annual Take Down Cancer event, which raised over $13,700 for the Emily Whitehead Foundation!
