Comcast Universal Sphere Exhibit Features Emily Whitehead and Dr. Carl June

On April 17, we joined Steven Spielberg and Comcast CEO Brian Roberts to unveil "The Universal Sphere" at the Comcast Technology Center in Philadelphia.

The sphere is a public theater experience that plays a short, 7-minute film about the power of ideas and features Emily and Penn Medicine's Dr. Carl June.

The unveiling event included a fireside chat between Roberts and Spielberg. When Emily asked Steven Spielberg what his favorite part of the film is, he said to her in front of the audience – you are my favorite part of the film.

Today also marks the 7 year anniversary of the day Emily received her first CAR-T infusion at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia on April 17, 2012. 

It is a great honor to have Emily's story included in this inspiring project, and it was very meaningful to share this day with Spielberg, Dr. June, and the great innovators at Comcast, DreamWorks, and all who collaborated to bring this exhibit to life.
