But not a day goes by that we aren’t thinking about the 400,000 children who are newly diagnosed with cancer each year. We believe that, together, we will turn Emily’s story into tens of thousands of survivor stories.

Childhood cancer patients often share a similar storyline: diagnosis followed by chemotherapy or radiation treatment. However, even when children reach remission, many develop long-term side effects or secondary cancers as a result of these harsh treatments.
We want a different journey for these warriors – one without toxic treatments, fear of relapse, or loss of life.
