On Friday, July 9 we held our 7th Annual Tee Off for T-Cells Charity Golf Tournament at Philipsburg Elks Lodge & Country Club!
For the first time in all the years of hosting this tournament, we reached full capacity for both the morning and afternoon tee times with 120 total golfers. We were also thrilled to have our live and silent auctions return to display on site, after being moved online last year to maintain safe social distancing.
Thanks to the support of our sponsors, community members, friends, family, and a record number of participants, this year's event raised an impressive $53,682! In seven years, Tee Off for T-Cells has now raised a combined total over $350,000.
We are especially grateful to our title sponsor CNB Bank for contributing $9,000 toward this year's total — with additional thanks to the Philipsburg Elks board of trustees for donating $3,000 and providing two teams at the Hall of Fame sponsorship level.
Tee Off for T-Cells would not be possible without the continued support from Joe Bower, the CNB Bank volunteers who return each year to help us manage registration, and Philipsburg Elks Lodge & Country Club for graciously hosting us.
It was also great to welcome Jon Condo, a former Philipsburg-Osceola Mountie, veteran NFL long snapper, and current Emily Whitehead Foundation board member, back to Philipsburg to host this year's tournament. Condo and his family have contributed immensely to the success of Tee Off for T-Cells since its inception, and we are so thankful for their dedication to our Foundation.
With each passing year, Tee Off for T-Cells reminds us how lucky we are to be surrounded by so much support from our local Philipsburg community. It makes us proud to share this event with all of you!
It is our hope to some day soon share Tee Off for T-Cells with more of our supporters both within Pennsylvania and beyond.
