On Friday, July 10 we held our 6th Annual Tee Off for T-Cells Charity Golf Tournament!
This year's event was a great success and we were glad to be able to hold it despite the necessary changes made to encourage social distancing and ensure the safety of our participants.
Among those changes, our silent auction moved to a virtual platform, providing everyone a safe opportunity to bid on many of the same great items that are typically on display. We received great feedback and look forward to implementing this option at future events!
We are incredibly thankful to CNB Bank for returning as the Tee Off for T-Cells title sponsor. Without the continued support from Joe Bower and the CNB Bank volunteers that dedicated their time to help with registration, this year's event would not have been possible.
We are also grateful to Philipsburg Elks Lodge & Country Club for working with us to make this tournament happen — as well as agreeing to donate a percentage of all restaurant proceeds accrued through the weekend!
And, while not able to travel this year to host the tournament in person, we appreciate as always the friendship, support, and dedication of Jon Condo and his family.
Overall, this year's event raised a total over $28,000! In six years, Tee Off for T-Cells has now raised close to $300,000 for pediatric cancer immunotherapy research.
