It was another great year filled with heartwarming success at the Philadelphia Marathon! The Emily Whitehead Foundation has proudly partnered with the Philadelphia Marathon since 2015, and every year we eagerly anticipate returning to run through the city where Emily pioneered her CAR T-cell therapy. Our dedicated team of runners showcased their strength and commitment on the course to make a meaningful difference.

Philipsburg cancer warrior CJ Coudriet and his family cheered on our runners at the 7.5-mile mark, serving as an inspirational reminder of why we run. CJ received a portion of proceeds from our 2023 Tee Off For T-Cells event to support him on his cancer journey, and it was wonderful to spend the day together. Over 20 members from the Neumann University Health Science Club celebrated runners as they crossed the finish line, volunteering on behalf of the Emily Whitehead Foundation.

Our incredible runners and generous donors helped us raise over $3,300! We are sincerely grateful for their support in our mission to activate the cure for childhood cancer. Congratulations to all the runners on their remarkable accomplishment, and we hope to see you again at next year’s race!
