Gulf to Goat
Oct 22Gulf to Goat: A Ride Fueled by Service and Science
This summer, Dr. Carl June — the physician whose groundbreaking CAR T-cell research helped save Emily Whitehead’s life — is joining fellow U.S. Naval Academy Class of 1975 alumni for an extraordinary coast-to-coast charity ride.
Gulf to Goat is a 1,200 mile cycling journey from the Gulf of Mexico to the grounds of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis. Led by 15 USNA graduates celebrating their 50th reunion, this ride honors their lifelong commitment to service while raising funds for causes close to their hearts — including the Emily Whitehead Foundation.
We are proud to share that Dr. Carl June, Charles Geyer, and Daniel Murphy are all riding in support of our mission to help more families access life-saving cancer treatments and advanced therapies.
