On May 10, we celebrated that Emily is 6 years cancer free!

It was on this day six years ago that we learned the T-cell therapy had not only saved Emily's life, but also left no evidence of leukemia cells. She was free of cancer, and Kari and I didn’t have to find out what it would be like living without our only daughter because of the miracle we received.

Emily recently turned 13 years old. She is thriving now and enjoying becoming a teenager. She is a straight A student. She enjoys traveling and helping others.

During a visit to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in April, Emily's latest blood tests indicated that the T-cells are still in her system and actively doing their job, with no leukemia cells detected. In the six years since Emily got better, great advancements have been made in CAR-T cell therapy research and the lives of many more children have been saved as a result.

We are very thankful for all of the hard work and sacrifices made by everyone involved to save Emily’s life and send her home cancer free.

We Believe!
