We had a great day of golf and fundraising at our 9th Annual at Tee Off for T-Cells golf tournament on July 14! We were back again at the beautiful Philipsburg Elks Lodge and had the perfect day teeing up to #ActivateTheCure.

Thank you to everyone who attended, participated, sponsored and supported our 9th annual Tee Off for T-Cells golf tournament, with a special shout out to our presenting sponsor CNB Bank! Talented teams along with donated prizes and silent auction items filled the day with fun and light competition. We are thrilled for the wonderful turn out again this year with all foursome teams sold out and the unrelenting support for the Foundation and its cause. New this year was a pre-event VIP reception held the Thursday night before the event hosted by Pat Romano and We Are INN.

A portion of proceeds from the event will support Philipsburg child cancer patient CJ Coudriet and other children and families going through cancer journeys. CJ is a 13-year-old who was recently diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, which is a cancer of soft tissue (such as muscle), connective tissue (such as tendon or cartilage) or bone. The fundraiser also had a special appearances by players of the Penn State football team and American wrestler and coach Kerry McCoy. McCoy competed twice at the Olympic Games and four times at the World Cup Championships. In 2014, he was inducted into the National Wrestling Hall of Fame as a Distinguished Member.

Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $43,000 this year bringing our 9-year total to $450,000. We look forward to reaching the $500,000 mark at the 10th annual Tee Off for T-Cells event next year!
