On Friday, July 12, the annual Tee Off for T-Cells charity golf tournament returned to Philispburg Elks Lodge & Country Club for a milestone fifth year.
Joined by friends and family, community members, our generous sponsors and embassadors, this year’s event was another great success, and raised a total over $49,000! In five years, Tee Off for T-Cells has now raised more than $265,000 for pediatric cancer research.
We had 96 golfers participate in this year’s tournament, including special guests former Penn State All-American quarterback Matt McGloin and former Olympic Games World Cup Championships, three time NCAA All-American and two time NCAA National Champion wrestler Kerry McCoy—along with tournament host NFL veteran and former Philipsburg-Osceola Mountie Jon Condo.
In addition to breaking a fundraising milestone, we incorporated several new activities into this year’s event to further involve the community, including wine and beer tastings, corn hole, silent auction, and a bounce house and face painting for the kids.
Tee Off for T-Cells continues to evolve and grow each year, and we are proud to be able to share it with our local Philipsburg and Centre County community. We are especially thankful to the Condo family for their dedication to making this event an ever-greater success.
Special thanks also to our longtime title sponsor CNB Bank, local sponsors, volunteers and Philispburg Elks Lodge & Country Club and staff, all of whom contribute to making this event possible year after year!
