This Sunday, December 3, Oakland Raiders long snapper Jon Condo will take to the field wearing a custom pair of cleats in support of the Emily Whitehead Foundation.

Condo is participating in the NFL's 'My Cause, My Cleats' initiative. A handful of NFL players across the league will wear similar custom-designed cleats this weekend for a variety of charitable causes, to be auctioned off in support of their chosen cause.

A Philipsburg, Pa. native, Condo is a long time Emily Whitehead Foundation supporter and board member, and has hosted our annual "Tee Off for T-Cells" golf tournament each of the last three years.

"I take pride in wearing these cleats," says Condo. "I think of Emily Whitehead and all of the other brave children who are strong enough to withstand the fight against cancer when I lace them up. I wear these cleats for them, to recognize their courage and strength."

Condo says he is extremely happy with the finished product for the cleats, which were painted and designed by Oakland Raiders head equipment manager Bobby Romanski.

While Condo's cleats are not included in the NFL auction, they will be available for auction by the Emily Whitehead Foundation at a later time. The cleats Condo wore last year were placed in the silent auction at our inaugural Believe Ball this past October and sold for over $500.

We are incredibly thankful to Jon for his commitment to and continual support of the Emily Whitehead Foundation. While watching this Sunday's game, we will surely be keeping an eye out for those spectacular purple and orange cleats!

The Oakland Raiders host the New York Giants this Sunday, December 3 at 4:25 p.m. ET.
