On January 3, 2019, we began the new year by joining members of our local community at the 4th Annual Take Down Cancer Event benefitting the Emily Whitehead Foundation. Thanks to the combined fundraising efforts of the Philipsburg-Osceola and Clearfield school districts and high school wrestling clubs, this year's event raised a total $11,205 to help further childhood cancer research!
Over the weekend of November 17-18, we traveled to Philadelphia to support our team of runners participating in the 2018 Philadelphia Marathon. In four years as an official charity partner, Team EWF has now raised over $143,000 through Philadelphia Marathon fundraising efforts!
On August 10-11, we joined up with UMI Performance Inc. to host a bake sale and 50/50 drawing at the 7th Annual UMI Autocross & Cruise-In event in Clearfield, PA. In just two days, proceeds totaled to $2,500, later matched by Viking Performance to donate a total $5,000 to EWF.
For the third year in a row, the Emily Whitehead Foundation participated in the Pittsburgh Marathon as an official charity partner. While the fundraising window remains open until May 31, our team has so far raised over $12,000!
On February 6, 2018, local Philipsburg-Osceola and Clearfield high school wrestling teams met in a dual-meet at Clearfield Area Senior High School for the third annual Take Down Cancer event, which raised over $13,700 for the Emily Whitehead Foundation!
